Isui-en & Neiraku Art Museum

A Japanese garden designated as a scenic spot nestled between Todaiji Temple and Kofukuji Temple in Nara City

Isui-en is a beautiful and quiet Japanese garden isolated from the outside world. Enjoy front the front garden, established in the Edo period (1603~1868), to the back garden established in the Meiji period (1868~1912), which is a landscape garden. In addition, the art museum located in the garden grounds houses exhibits from East-Asian works of art and antiquities.
